Location:

Ashland, WI. Pay Range: N/A. This is a full‑time seasonal position, working May through November (weather permitting). Overtime is required. Local and regional travel may be necessary.

Milestone Materials (Northwoods Paving Company) is an aggregate producer and supplier of rock and stone products used in road construction, infrastructure, and landscaping projects. Skilled operator responsible for loading material and aggregate into transport vehicles or operating crushing, screening and hot‑mix asphalt plants. The operator ensures loads are correctly weighed and free from debris, distributes material evenly, feeds properly classified material to crushers and hot‑mix plants, and records time and materials. Training will be provided on the job and advancement opportunities are available.

• Load material/aggregate/soils into transport vehicles.
• Operate crushing, screening plants or hot‑mix asphalt plants.
• Ensure loads are properly weighed and free from debris.
• Distribute materials evenly throughout transport.
• Feed properly classified material into crushers and hot‑mix plants.
• Maintain accurate time and material records.
• Follow safety and compliance programs, ensuring safety at the forefront.
• Help train less experienced employees and be a team player.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to work in all seasonal weather and environmental conditions.
• Knowledge of aggregate sizes, classifications and weight requirements of loads leaving the pit.
• Knowledge of soils, sand and aggregate classification to produce “spec” material through the crushing operation.
• Excellent customer relation skills.
• Ability to listen, take direction and be a team player.
