Senior Procurement Specialist

Our Ashtabula, Ohio complex comprises two state‑of‑the‑art facilities located just south of Lake Erie, with over 45 years of manufacturing excellence.

• Handle commercial post‑contract award management of key site agreements.
• Network with the global INEOS procurement organization and other INEOS BUs to maximize volume leverage.
• Provide expert advice on procurement‑related risks, including in‑depth market knowledge both commercial and technical to INEOS Pigments Business Unit.
• Identify and recommend new suppliers and contractors that can offer a commercial or technical advantage to mitigate project or asset schedule risks.

• BS degree in Engineering, supply chain management, operations management, or business administration preferred.
• Previous CAPEX/Project and Logistics procurement experience of 5+ years in a large complex manufacturing environment, dealing with contract negotiation and management desirable.
• Well‑formed understanding of procurement and logistics industry terminology.
• Knowledgeable of procurement work processes and capable of efficiently interfacing with business management software (SAP).
• Demonstrated ability to define, measure, and solve technically complex issues under severe time constraints.
• Excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication, technical aptitude, and negotiation skills required.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with ability to build relevant relationships and networks.
• Self‑starter working effectively in ad‑hoc multi‑disciplinary teams, providing direction and focus to achieve objectives.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to react quickly and work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to drive performance and positively influence stakeholders outside of reporting line to achieve positive results.
• Experience in streamlining and optimizing existing processes (Continuous Improvement).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
