INEOS Pigments located in Ashtabula, OH consists of two facilities – Plant 1 and Plant 2 – that safely and efficiently produce titanium dioxide pigment (TiO₂) and titanium chemicals products. The company is one of the largest producers of TiO₂, a bright white powder made from titanium ore. Titanium dioxide is a unique material delivering an unparalleled refractive index value, making it ideal for applications where opacity is required.

TiO₂ makes possible opacity, brightness and durability in a variety of end uses like coatings, plastics and paper.

Capex buyer handles commercial post‑contract award management of key Site agreements. Network with the global INEOS procurement organization and other INEOS BUs to maximize volume leverage. Provide expert advice on procurement‑related risks, including in‑depth market knowledge both commercial and technical to INEOS Pigments Business Unit. Identify and recommend new suppliers and contractors to the businesses that can offer a commercial or technical advantage to mitigate project or asset schedule risks.

• BS degree in Engineering, supply chain management, operations management, business administration preferred.
• Previous CAPEX/Project and Logistics procurement 5 or more years’ experience in a large complex manufacturing environment, dealing with contract negotiation and management desirable.
• Well‑formed understanding of procurement and logistics industry and terminology.
• Must be knowledgeable of procurement work processes and be fully capable of demonstrating the ability to efficiently interface with business management software (SAP).
• Demonstrated skills and abilities to define, measure, and solve technically complex issues – often with severe time constraints.
• Excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication, technical aptitude, and negotiation skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build relevant relationships and networks.
• Self‑starter working effectively in ad hoc multi‑disciplinary teams, providing the team direction and focus to achieve overall objectives.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to react quickly and work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to drive performance and positively influence other stakeholders outside of the reporting line to achieve positive results.
• Experience in streamlining and optimizing existing processes – Continuous Improvement.
• The position requires strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
