As a Clinical Therapist with Family Pride, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout Northeast Ohio. You won't be limited to a traditional office setting. Our therapists provide services where clients are most comfortable and where support is needed most.

POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY

Our Clinical Therapist provides comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and prevention services to clients and their families. Our Clinical Therapist work with individuals and families throughout Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula Counties, providing services in the home, schools, online, community, and office settings.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, collaborative, and committed to helping individuals and families achieve meaningful progress toward their goals.

Requirements QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree, master’s degree or Ph.D. in clinical counseling or social work from an accredited university
  • Licensed as a clinical counselor or social worker (LSW, LISW/LPC, LPCC)
  • Excellent professional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with diverse individuals, families, and team members.
  • Effectively interpret and understand clients and identify a unique approach to treatment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated capacity to address complex individual and family needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL
  • Work Environment:
    This position operates primarily in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing systems. Occasional travel to community sites, partner organizations, and board meetings is required.
