Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Nurse Manager provides leadership and oversight across all shifts for assigned nursing units.

• Clinical supervision of assigned staff, including time and attendance management, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordination of unit operations in collaboration with other departments to ensure effective and efficient patient care across all age groups.
• Active participation on hospital committees as assigned.
• In partnership with the Director of Nursing, accountable for achieving quality outcomes, enhancing patient satisfaction, managing fiscal responsibilities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• May assume the duties of the Director of Nursing as directed or in their absence.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Strong demonstration of clinical knowledge and skills:
  Must have good oral, written, and interpersonal skills along with strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a related area of nursing.
• Previous healthcare management experience preferred.

Current RN license in the state of Ohio.

• Requires a full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients; manual and finger dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination.
• Standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
• Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Working under periods of high stress.
