Location

Requirements- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) — this is mandatory.
- Ohio license or willingness to obtain one — this is mandatory.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or willingness to obtain them — this is mandatory.
- DEA license before starting — this is necessary.
- Experience with managing Vascular Access Devices (VAD), Central Venous Catheters, Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA), Biopsies, and different types of Chemotherapy (Intrathecal, Intracavitary, Intrapleural, and Peritoneal) — this is mandatory.
- Participate in a Tumor Board, work with the Blood Bank, order tests and images, and write prescriptions — this is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of work experience as a Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner in a specific clinic or hospital setting. This must not include experience as an RN, training, or work in general practice/internal medicine/family medicine — this is mandatory.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Board Certification
- Must have a license from Ohio.
