LPN - ARHH
Ashtabula Regional Medical Center
Using the nursing process implements the plan of care established by the patient's RN PCM in coordination with the patient's physician for acute care.
Education, Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Graduate of an approved School of Practical Nursing
- Recommend minimum of 2-3 years clinical experience in an acute care setting. Able to provide independent transportation.
- Current Ohio LPN license and pharmacy card.
- Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a telephone, analyze and prepare written records, and provide hands‑on care to clients. Requires normal range of hearing to communicate with staff, clients, physicians, and other health‑care providers. Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs. Travel to patient homes within a 60‑mile radius in all kinds of weather. Must be able to access a wide variety of home structures.
Involves dealing with frequent changes, stressful situations, and the need to problem‑solve.
