Patient Care Nursing Assistant (PCNA) – Ashtabula Regional Medical Center

As part of Ashtabula Regional Medical Center's new patient care tower—a 115,000‑square‑foot building with 55 private patient rooms, an ICU, surgical suite, and emergency department—this role supports quality patient care in a state‑of‑the‑art environment.

The PCNA will perform various patient care activities and related services under the direction of licensed staff. Duties include ADL’s, vitals, feeding, bathing, dressing, mouth care, and other direct patient care duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• At least 1 year of experience providing direct customer service to customers or patients is strongly desired

• BLS certification required. Can be obtained during orientation

• Requires ability to walk 6 to 8 miles in an 8‑hour shift
• Lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Work under periods of high stress and in a consistently fast‑paced environment
