Senior Embedded Engineer

A Senior Embedded Software Engineer is sought to join an innovative engineering team in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, contributing to the design, development and validation of secure embedded software for network-connected assistive listening products. The Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, will be expected to take a leading role in embedded software development, working across the full product lifecycle while collaborating with hardware, firmware, test and compliance teams.

Responsibilities include:

Designing and developing embedded software in C/C++ for real-time systems Developing secure network-connected products using TCP/IP, HTTP/S and TLS Writing, testing and maintaining production-quality embedded software Supporting cybersecurity, compliance and secure product development Working with RTOS and low-level device drivers for ARM-based platforms Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver new products Supporting debugging, technical reviews and continuous product improvements The Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, will have the following key skills:
Strong embedded C and/or C++ development experience

Experience with RTOS, bare-metal development and ARM Cortex processors Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, TLS and network-connected embedded systems
