Web Developer / Graphics Design Specialist

Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

Clearance required:

Secret (Tier 3 / T3R investigation); interim Secret required before starting work.

Scope of Work:
Develops and maintains ATEC intranet and public-facing websites and graphic interfaces, ensuring Section 508 and WCAG AA accessibility compliance and DoD publishing standards.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Develop and maintain graphic interfaces and websites using tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite Maintain ATEC, ATC, AEC, and OEC intranet sites using a Government-provided portal or web development technology

Maintain public-facing internet sites in accordance with DoD policy and Army publishing standards, obtaining PAO approval and maintaining a change log Ensure all web interfaces meet Section 508 and WCAG AA accessibility standards

Coordinate content updates with departmental content owners and subject matter experts and mitigate all vulnerabilities

High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
U.S. citizenship

Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently

Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software

Active Secret clearance (Tier 3 / T3R)
DoD 8140 / 8570.01-M baseline certification appropriate to the assigned work role and level, held prior to performance, with the required computing environment (CE) certification obtained within six (6) months of appointment.
