Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project Manager:
Hansen Construction is seeking detail oriented, hardworking individuals that understand the importance of creating and maintaining a positive work environment. This is a skilled position requiring a strong work ethic and the ability to fully manage and coordinate high-end residential construction projects from bidding through completion.

• Comprehensive knowledge in quantity takeoffs, estimating and budgeting.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Process day-to-day administrative items (i.e., RFI’s, submittals, shop drawings, procurement, quantity take-offs, etc.).
• Compose and edit letters, memos, reports, and procedures. Identify potential problems, work interferences and schedule difficulties.
• Change management.
• Tracking time and material work.
• Attending owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings on a regular basis.
• Coordination with design team and consultants.
• Client relations.
• Elimination of obstacles that prevent progress in the field.

• High school degree or equivalent. Construction Management Degree or equivalent field experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in construction and/or business.
• Familiarity with other construction trades and crafts.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills and an ability/desire to learn new software systems.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Procore, On Screen Take-Off, Bluebeam Software experience is preferred.
• Must be courteous, professional, diplomatic, and highly motivated.
