Description
The Bucksbaum Production Staff serves as the production crew for the Bucksbaum Campus of the Aspen Music Festival and School and various satellite venues throughout the city of Aspen. The members of this team staff a myriad of events such as registration, rehearsals, galas, auditions, meetings, and private concerts. Bucksbaum Production Crew will work with stage management to arrange accurate and timely rehearsal setups along with providing technical support for rehearsals and miscellaneous events.
These crew positions report to the Bucksbaum Production Manager and Assistant Production Manager. There are multiple positions available in this role.
- Complete the load-in and load-out of the annual inventory of pianos (approximately 100 pianos in total) as well as the campus transition between the Aspen Country Day School and AMFS.
- Set up the campus for the music festival needs, including the movement of rehearsal equipment, signage, instruments and office furniture.
- Daily tasks include preparing equipment needs for large ensemble rehearsals, moving equipment and supplies, maintaining venue and resource schedules, and ensuring the cleanliness and efficient operation of all Bucksbaum Campus facilities.
- On an as‑needed basis, the Production Crew may be called on to assist and support the Percussion Crew and Meadows Production Crew.
- This role works regularly with other departments (library, development, marketing, student services, etc.) on special events.
- Candidate should have first‑hand experience with concert production or stage management, must be able to safely move extremely heavy equipment, and must be able to follow directions thoroughly and responsibly.
- Candidate must be team‑oriented and have the ability to complete a rigorous work list with excellent endurance and a positive attitude.
- Candidate must also be flexible in addressing the demands of a variety of constituents.
- Candidate must frequently lift equipment up to 70 pounds or of greater weights in tandem with additional crew members' assistance.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. A DMV check will be conducted for the candidate(s) hired.

Compensation$15.16/hour plus housing provided by AMFS (valued at a minimum of $5.16/hour depending on location.) Overtime $22.74/hour
Benefits include AMFS season pass and paid sick time.
