🏔️ Live and Work in the Heart of the Rockies – Hospitalist Opportunity in Aspen, CO

Going to work is a whole lot easier when your office is nestled in a mountain resort community like no other. High in the stunning Elk Mountains, Aspen, Colorado offers unparalleled access to world‑class alpine and Nordic skiing, hiking, biking, and outdoor recreation all in a vibrant, close-knit community.

We are seeking a Med/Peds Hospitalist to join our collaborative team in a full‑time position providing high‑quality, mission‑driven inpatient care.

• Schedule:
  
  8 shifts/month (24‑hour shifts)
• Shift
  
  Hours:
  
  6 AM – 6 AM, typically worked in 3–4 shift blocks
• Team Model:
  Work alongside a dedicated team including physicians and an APP (requires supervision)
• Night Support:
  Considering telehealth support; in‑person coverage provided for longer shift blocks
• Requirement: BC Med/Peds or FM with Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

• Level 1 Nursery:
  Well‑baby care
• Inpatient Pediatrics & Pediatric ICU
• Adult Med/Surg Inpatient Care
• ICU Rounding (Closed ICU model comparable to step‑down units in larger hospitals)
• No high‑risk deliveries; attendance required for unplanned C‑sections

• Daily Census: 8–10 patients (expected to grow to 14–15, max 20)
• Admissions per Day: 0–3
• Urgent Consults per Day: 0–5
