We are seeking an Associate Attorney to work in civil plaintiff litigation and criminal defense. My Client's reputation for strategic brilliance and exceptional client advocacy sets the tone for everything they do. We’re seeking an exceptionally dedicated Associate Attorney who is ready to grow their career and work alongside a highly respected trial lawyer and contribute meaningfully to a thriving practice.
You are someone who will bring skill in legal research, writing, and courtroom skills in high-stakes criminal defense and civil litigation matters. This is a growing firm and your career will flourish as you develop in this role!
You will need a Colorado License to practice and we will provide relocation if necessary and salary based on experience along with health insurance.
Qualifications- J.D. from ABA-accredited law school; active Colorado Bar License in good standing (or eligible for reciprocal admission)
- 3 - 6 years of experience in litigation preferred (legal experience in related practice areas, including clerkship experience, will be considered)
- Track record of navigating sensitive topics, such as civil and criminal litigation, lawsuits, and personal injury, with empathy and professionalism
- Documented proficiency in distilling complex concepts into understandable client communication
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace (GSuite), and video conferencing platforms required
- Familiarity with cloud-based legal practice management software preferred
- Organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable with technology
- A good fit for a modern, client-focused, and growth-oriented team.
- Assist in high-stakes criminal defense and civil litigation matters
- Manage your own cases with mentorship from Ben Rose
- Draft motions, conduct legal research, prepare for trial, and appear in court
- Argue motions, take and defend depositions, and manage discovery
- Work closely with clients during some of the most important moments of their lives
