Estate Manager, Live-out

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000

Schedule: Full-time, 5-day work week with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.

Job Summary:

A private family seeks an experienced and highly organized Estate Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and hospitality standards of two residences in Aspen’s Red Mountain area. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and proven experience managing luxury homes.

Preference for local candidates or those from surrounding areas, as this is a live-out position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of two Aspen properties (main home guest house)
  • Hire, schedule, and supervise household staff
  • Manage all vendors, contractors, and maintenance providers
  • Coordinate with the family office, personal assistants, and travel team on schedules and logistics
  • Maintain household inventories and supplies (flowers, wine, pet items, etc.)
  • Support family and guest visits, including formal/informal table service and light meal preparation
  • Assist with event planning and execution for seasonal gatherings and dinners
  • Care for and oversee the onsite art collection
  • Manage household budgets, expenses, and monthly reporting
  • Oversee vehicles, ski equipment, and local transportation needs
  • Support dog care and daily walking as needed
  • Ensure both homes are properly secured, maintained, and closed when the family is away

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of estate, household, or luxury hospitality management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Excellent references from previous employers
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Hands-on, proactive, and service-oriented
  • Experience managing maintenance, landscaping, repairs, and home systems
  • Comfortable with smart-home technology, AV systems, and basic troubleshooting
  • Event planning or hospitality experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
    Apple-friendly
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Valid US Work Authorization
  • Valid Driver’s License
