TK Health is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team serving Pitkin County in Aspen, Colorado. This position offers $50.00 per hour along with full-time benefits and the opportunity to practice nursing in a unique healthcare environment where your clinical skills and judgment are valued every day.

Correctional nursing is different from traditional bedside nursing. You'll care for a diverse patient population, work closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, and have the opportunity to use a broad range of nursing skills while making a meaningful impact.

No correctional healthcare experience? That's okay. Nurses from hospitals, clinics, long-term care, home health, behavioral health, and other settings can successfully transition into correctional healthcare.

• Assessing patients and responding to their healthcare needs
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Performing nursing assessments and documenting patient care
• Responding to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Assisting providers with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans
• Providing patient education and promoting continuity of care
• Managing chronic and acute medical conditions within the scope of nursing practice
• Coordinating care with providers and other members of the healthcare team
• Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation
• Following established clinical, safety, and security procedures
• Performing additional nursing duties as assigned

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to practice in Colorado
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain as required
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Correctional healthcare experience is not required
