Description:
Minimum Qualifications Requirements:
Candidates must possess an Associate degree in Nursing (ADN).An unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado is required, or the candidate must be able to obtain one prior to the start date.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and can be obtained upon hire.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing is preferred.
Experience at a Joint Commission accredited facility with an official Operating Room Training Program is preferred.
Orthopedic experience as an Operating Room RN is preferred.
Candidates should have scrub and circulating experience.
Successful completion of Periop 101 is preferred.
Experience with EPIC is preferred.
Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
Housing options in the surrounding towns should be considered as it can be expensive, particularly in the winter.
Candidates must be healthy enough to function safely in a low oxygen environment.
Holiday coverage is required.
