Job Description

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic bartender to join the team. The bartender’s job is to provide guests with curated drinks. The ideal candidate should have a talent for mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to customers. We want to hear from passionate mixologists who thrive in a vibrant atmosphere. The bartender will assist with all aspects of FOH, including clearing tables, running food and drinks, and greeting customers.

Bartenders must embody our core values and connect with guests professionally.

Job Responsibilities
  • Have complete knowledge of our house’s classic cocktails, including specs & ingredients, brands, flavor profiles, and any allergens.
  • Set up the bar station promptly, working with coworkers to maintain standards and readiness.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages only to guests over 21, checking IDs each time.
  • Control alcohol portions to prevent over‑intoxication.
  • Execute service expectations outlined in the service manual.
  • Promote a safe and clean environment for co‑workers and guests.
  • Respect all building areas, cleaning and resetting as needed.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, ingredients, sourcing, brands, and allergens.
  • Understand and use the POS system effectively.
  • Use heightened awareness on allergy tables and code according to standards.
  • Support F&B staff in understanding all allergens.
  • Check in with staff in the space upon arrival and offer assistance.
  • Perform bar maintenance during shifts, including crumbing, keeping waters full, clearing and resetting serving ware.
  • Report guest complaints to management immediately.
  • Build relationships with regular guests and the neighborhood community.
  • Comply with sanitation standards and procedures per health regulations.
  • Complete weekly cleaning duties, plus opening and closing duties.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, holidays, and meetings.
  • Ask for help when needed; it signals strength, not weakness.
  • Continue education in all facets of operations, such as kitchen, service, coffee, and tea programs.
  • Represent MOLLIE Aspen professionally at all times.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent guest service and problem‑resolution skills.
  • Understanding of point‑of‑sale systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability: stand extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 25 lbs, bend, and reach.
