Overview  A Snapshot of Your Day. You start your day by coordinating with customers across the Netherlands, preparing for on-site assignments. Most of your time is spent in the field, traveling to industrial client sites such as chemical plants, oil & gas facilities, or power plants. You work hands-on with electrification, automation, and digitalization systems, performing installations, commissioning, or maintenance.

Between tasks, you troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure systems run reliably. You also engage closely with customers, build relationships, and support colleagues by sharing your expertise and mentoring less experienced team members.
Responsibilities   Delivery of on-site technical services including installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrification, automation, and digitalization systems
Execution of advanced troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to ensure high system reliability and uptime
Responsibility for maintaining high service levels across diverse industrial environments such as chemical, oil & gas, and power generation
Management of customer relationships, ensuring strong communication, trust, and satisfaction during service engagements
Independent handling of complex field service assignments and customer-facing projects
Contribution to team development through mentoring and knowledge sharing with less experienced colleagues
Requirements / Qualifications   Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
Extensive professional experience (typically 5+ years) in field service, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial electrical and automation systems
Proven capability to independently solve complex technical issues and manage customer-facing assignments
Strong practical expertise in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance within demanding industrial environments
Valid electrical safety certification in accordance with recognized industry standards (e.g. Stipel IV/WV)
Experience operating within highly regulated or safety-critical environments, including offshore standards such as Nogepa
