Financial Controller

Our client is a Multinational company with a remarkable presence  order to expand the structure, we are looking for a Financial Controller.

He/she will be part of the Reporting and Controlling team as Financial Controller, reporting to the Group Reporting and Accounting Manager.

He/she will be involved in activities both in the Reporting and in the Controlling area. In particular (as main activities), he/she will:

Drive inventory valuation accuracy and contribute to the improvement of cost controlling analyses required by Operations team.

Analyze inventory movements, to highlight main trends in the manufacturing environment.

Play a relevant role in the monthly closing process, being in charge of preparing or reviewing adjustment journal entries.

Prepare warranty provisions calculations, based on warranty cost analysis.

Support group-wide financial processes, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidation entries.

Support the budgeting process and monthly Actual vs Budget analysis.

Support yearly Statutory Financial Statement preparation (both standalone and consolidated).Support the development of new controlling analyses (e.g.: R&D projects).The role offers broad exposure to accounting, controlling, consolidation and group reporting processes, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth within an international environment.

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Economics/ Accounting.
2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance in a manufacturing environment. Big Four experience is considered as a plus.

Prone to problem solving and adaptable to ever changing situations.

Knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC) and strong competence in accounting.

Experience in an ERP environment (JDE is considered as a plus).Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Fluent in English.

Interpersonal skills and ability to work productively in an international cross-functional team environment

Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Salary package:

euro 40.000/45.000
