English Teacher

Overview
My English School is looking for English Teachers to join our team, in Asti. Our classes are group classes for adults, company courses and young learners, with a mixture of grammar-based and speaking-based lessons. Our lessons last one hour and with groups of students that can change due to our booking system. We are looking for strong communicative language teachers who are able to build rapport with students, facilitate speaking activities, and provide effective correction.

We are also seeking teachers who are confident in online teaching. Teachers with My English School are required to have flexible availability in mornings and evenings during the week, including Saturday mornings. Our teachers usually teach between 15-20 hours. Successful candidates will receive full initial training and ongoing professional development, including observations, feedback, and training sessions.
Responsibilities

Build rapport with students, facilitate speaking activities, and provide effective correction.
Teach group classes for adults, company courses, and young learners; adapt to booking-system changes.
Deliver lessons lasting one hour with a mix of grammar-based and speaking-based content.
Be confident with online teaching and flexible with availability in mornings and evenings, including Saturday mornings.
Engage in training and professional development through observations, feedback, and training sessions.

Qualifications

TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or an equivalent qualification is required.
A degree or evidence of further study is preferred.
Applicants should have at least one year of teaching experience.

Salary and Benefits

We offer part-time and full-time permanent contracts with a competitive hourly rate.
