Department OverviewColumbia Memorial Hospital in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a general surgery leader to join our Astoria, Oregon group of experienced surgeons who provide general surgery care to patients in a community setting.
Function/Duties of Position- Clinical Associate role with a balanced mix of dedicated OR and clinic time.
- Collaborative, established relationships with surgeons, oncology providers, radiologists, pathologists, hospitalists and primary care providers.
- 1:4 General Surgery call while maintaining prompt off‑site availability.
- Growing and financially strong organization.
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
- Active, unrestricted Oregon Medical License.
- DEA Certificate.
- Guaranteed base salary with annual quality incentives plus a Medical Director stipend.
