Instructor, Medical Assistant – Management & Training Corporation
Location: Tongue Point Job Corps Center, Astoria, OR
Salary: $44,446 annually
Schedule: Full Time, 8‑hour shifts, Monday – Friday

You will teach and mentor students in the Medical Assistant curriculum. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, providing instruction, counseling students on behavior and study habits, and coordinating with counselors and staff to resolve training issues.
Essential Functions- Provide direction, instruction, and assistance in the designated curriculum area.
- Motivate and counsel students regarding behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
- Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and instruction.
- Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curriculum changes and supplemental materials.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe training environment.
- Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.
- Certified, licensed, or accredited by a professional trade organization with at least two (2) years of teaching adult students or working in a medical facility.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
