Manager – Pharmacy

Join Columbia Memorial Hospital as the Pharmacy Manager responsible for the operation and management of inpatient and infusion pharmacy operations. The role ensures the safe and effective use of medications throughout the hospital system, acts as Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Leader, and organizes and implements pharmacy policies and procedures in accordance with hospital standards and good pharmacy practice.

• Operate and manage inpatient and infusion pharmacy operations.
• Ensure safe and effective medication use across the hospital system.
• Lead the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.
• Develop, implement, and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures.

• Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills with effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to set priorities, make critical decisions, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• Knowledge of pharmacy practice and management.

• Current license as a pharmacist with the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy.
• Current BLS certification upon hire required and maintained thereafter.
• ACCP Board Certification preferred.

• BS in Pharmacy;

  D preferred.
• Pharmacy Practice Residency preferred.
• Five years hospital pharmacist experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Long periods standing and sitting; ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
