ResponsibilitiesThis position will independently perform various sonographic examinations with minimal supervision from the Medical Director. The sonographer will develop complete clinical information, evaluate images, present completed examinations for interpretation, and may render preliminary findings at the discretion of the Medical Director. On‑call responsibility is expected, with on‑site arrival within 30 minutes of contact. Cross‑training in additional modalities, including physiological studies, may also be required as appropriate.

- Must be registered by the ARDMS or certified by the ARRT in at least one sonographic modality.
- Must maintain the continued‑education requirements specified by the credentialing body.
- Current OBRT licensure is required when appropriate.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
Sonographers who are also ARRT‑registered radiographers may be required to perform diagnostic radiology studies as needed, including routine workday rotations in radiographic modalities.
Physical Demands & Work Environment (ADA Compliance)Must be in generally good health, with the ability to mobilize sonography equipment as required for patient care. Must be able to transport patients as appropriate, assist with patient transfers, and lift as needed.
