Clatsop County occupies the northwest corner of Oregon bounded to the north by the Columbia River and to the west by the Pacific Ocean. Named for the Clatsop Indians, Clatsop County is rich in history, scenery and opportunity.
Deputy District Attorney IIIDDA III: $ 10,142.65 to $13,592.12 per month

About Clatsop CountyToday Clatsop County is one of nine Home Rule counties in Oregon. Five non‑partisan elected Commissioners set policy and appoint a full‑time County Manager, who is responsible for daily operations. County services are provided through these divisions:
County Administration (County Manager), Assessment and Taxation, Budget and Finance, County Clerk, Juvenile, Public Health, Public Works, Community Development, the District Attorney, and Sheriff’s Offices. The county also administers a road district, a rural law enforcement district, and a local sewer district.
The purpose of this position is to perform professional legal work in the investigation, preparation and presentation of more complex cases prosecuted by the District Attorney, including major felony prosecutions.
This is a full‑time exempt position reporting to an elected official and is represented by AFSCME Local 2746, District Attorney.
Required Qualifications- Doctor of Jurisprudence degree and admission to the Oregon State Bar.
- Must have been admitted to the practice of law and engaged in trial practice for at least five (5) years.
- Specific experience in major felony prosecution and support enforcement actions.
