Refrigeration Technician – P & L JOHNSON MECHANICAL, INC. (Astoria, OR)

P & L Johnson Mechanical, a reputable and established refrigeration company serving the Astoria, OR area, is seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Technician with a strong emphasis on refrigeration systems.

Job Type: Full-time

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various refrigeration systems with a focus on refrigeration units.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service calls and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and services provided.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on proper system maintenance.

• High school diploma or equivalent; refrigeration certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a refrigeration technician with a strong background in refrigeration.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and principles.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing refrigeration issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, also ability to work independently and be a go-getter.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 5-10 years refrigeration experience (Must Have).

Salary: Up to $42.00/hour
