Starting Rate $16.50 per hour

• Provide excellent customer service and engage with the community.
• Receive inventory, stock and maintain a store section, operate a cash register, carry-out services and store cleaning as assigned.
• Maintain a store section, may order, receive and stock merchandise, ensure proper pricing, check product codes, rotate stock, stock shelves and displays, and prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays; review invoices/bills for accuracy.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in interior and exterior areas of store and parking lot as directed.
• Process cash and credit transactions, issue refunds when approved, and verify eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous assistance to customers; assist customers to their vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties and record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

• Read and write English; interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate
