Radiologic Technologist responsibilities include establishing patient rapport, ensuring operability of radiology equipment, reporting problems, producing and reviewing radiographs per standards, maintaining a safe environment, setting exposure parameters per ALARA, protecting patients and employees, following infection‑control and HIPAA policies, and keeping professional knowledge via ARRT continuing education.

• Minimum
  
  Required Experience:
  
  1 year as a staff or student technologist
• Preferred Experience:
  
  3 years as staff technologist

• Minimum Required
  
  Education:
  
  Successful Completion of JRCERT accredited education program
• Preferred Education:
  
  Associate or Bachelor’s in Radiologic Science

• Minimum Required Licenses:
  Kansas State Board of Healing Arts LRT.
• Minimum Required
  
  Certifications:
  
  ARRT (R) certification, BLS
