Mechanical Journeyman

Job Description

We are seeking a full‑time Mechanical Journeyman to support our 24‑hour production plant. The role involves 8‑hour shifts and on‑site presence to provide continuous equipment support.

Pay is $28.90/hr after training.

• Perform preventative maintenance on critical equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
• Repair unscheduled failures of machinery efficiently and safely.
• Complete lubrication routes throughout the facility.
• Collaborate interdepartmentally with other trades to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Execute scheduled weekly work plans and support engineering installation of new equipment.

• Experienced welding.
• Greasing and lubrication skills.
• Hydraulic repair experience.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Strong independent work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Team‑oriented collaboration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to follow instructions.
• Comfortable working at heights, ladders, confined spaces.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

This role requires passing scores on a mechanical ability test and a mechanical journeyman test.
