Material Handler

We are looking for a Material Handler to join our MGP team in Atchison, KS. As an operator, you are responsible for managing equipment and conducting in‑plant testing on production samples to verify product is within established specifications.

• Operate packaging equipment such as a bag/box filler, bag sealer, box taper, check weigher, pallet stretch wrapper, and other equipment post‑dryer.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks, and document incoming and outgoing materials.
• Perform changeovers from different products and packaging efficiently.
• Perform sanitation during changeovers, including wet and dry cleaning, safe handling of chemicals, and allergen cleaning of all plant equipment.
• Perform housekeeping to maintain sanitation levels and BRC requirements.
• Use computers to enter required data.
• Interpret and follow written and verbal instructions; operate in a team environment.
• Operate with minimal supervision, work under pressure of deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Operate safely, efficiently, and productively.
• Wear personal protective equipment and other safety equipment as needed.
• Perform basic math, writing and mechanical skills.
• Overtime as required; shift and days off are subject to change.
• Perform other duties assigned by management as required.
