Grain Elevator Operator - 2nd shift at Bartlett

Atchison, KS

$23/hr and up

2nd shift, 2:45pm-10:45pm, M-F with ample overtime, including weekends.

Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc.

The duties of this hands‑on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross‑trained to perform a variety of tasks.

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check

• This job can be physically strenuous
• Work in tight and confined spaces
• Work at heights
• Frequent lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
• Ascend/descend ladders
• Wear PPE
