Mechanical Technician AB

Join TC Energy as a Mechanical Technician focused on natural gas generator engines in Athabasca, AB. This role involves troubleshooting, operating generators, and performing essential maintenance tasks.

As part of the Aurora Central team, you'll also coordinate mechanical projects and work with contractors effectively. Ideal candidates will thrive in a proactive and safety-oriented environment while collaborating to ensure reliability and efficiency in operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and maintain generator engines and auxiliary systems

• Execute routine and preventive mechanical maintenance

• Manage daily work orders and data organization

• Direct vendors while supervising on-site work

• Contribute to team safety discussions

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Certification in Waukesha Engine or CAT Service

• Hands-on engine diagnostics and tuning experience

• Understanding of electrical troubleshooting basics

• Ability to work independently and travel frequently
