Electrical Engineer

Position: Electrical Engineer Role

As part of the Al-Pac team, you will handle engineering duties related to improving our kraft pulp production facility. Your tasks will include conducting engineering inspections and creating standards that adhere to best practices and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and contribute to discussions that shape our strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and coordinate mill equipment activities

• Execute engineering inspections for quality evaluation

• Develop engineering standards in compliance with regulations

• Mentor new engineers following APEGA guidelines

• Participate in strategic and capital expenditure discussions

Requirements:

• P.Eng registration with APEGA or eligible for registration

• Minimum of 2 years relevant engineering experience

• Project Management background is a plus

• Familiarity with industrial plant operations

• Effective multitasking and decision-making skills
