In this permanent role, you'll support the Chief Information Security Officer and the Digital Security team. Your primary responsibilities include maintaining the cybersecurity risk register, developing policies, and managing security tools. A key aspect of your work will involve creating indicators that reflect adherence to AU’s policy framework while effectively managing cybersecurity threats within regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Digital Security Programs by identifying cybersecurity risks
• Maintain and update the cybersecurity risk register
• Collaborate with IT and compliance teams for risk management
• Develop and administer cybersecurity policies and tools
• Create risk indicators showing policy adherence
Requirements:
• 5+ years in IT risk or cybersecurity risk management
• Degree or diploma in computer science or relevant field
• Preferred certifications: AWS Security Specialty, CISM, CISSP
• Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like ISO 27001
