Accounting Clerk – Contract to Hire – Athens
We’re looking for a Contracting Finance and Accounting Recruiter / Talent Expert to support our client in the Athens, AL area. The role is onsite with immediate interview and start. Please apply below.
Base Pay Range$22.00/hr – $28.00/hr, DOE.
ResponsibilitiesThis role includes handling Accounts Payable duties such as keying, coding, and processing invoices, performing 3‑way matching, data entry, and other related accounting tasks.
Qualifications- Basic knowledge of proper accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Experience in a multi‑company environment is helpful.
- Ability to perform basic accounting calculations and analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel with knowledge of Excel accounting functions.
- ERP system knowledge would be a plus.
