Position Summary
Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Mechanical Planner for an expected 18-month duration at Browns Ferry Nuclear. Site/TVA experience is a huge plus. Develop comprehensive work orders and planning packages to support DZECM's work scope. Interface and support field operations during execution of the work packages. Provide support in estimating, scheduling, planning, work package development, procurement, and development of project tracking tools.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive work packages within client's work management system (MAXIMO, others use SAP, NAMS and PASSPORT).
- Support field operations on tagging/clearance requirements.
- Interface with field operations on the development of estimate, schedule and resource loading.
- Assist in material procurement and material receipt inspection.
- Perform real and virtual walk-downs with field operations.
3 plus years of applicable experience or BS Degree in an Engineering. Plus 3 years field planning experience.
EducationHigh school diploma required; some college or post-secondary education preferred.
CompensationIn compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $79,000min - $193,000max. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
