United Trades of America is seeking an experienced Assistant Electrical Project Manager/Estimator for a position in Decatur, Alabama. This role requires a skilled professional with a strong background in electrical project management and bidding. The ideal candidate will be a local resident with proven expertise in overseeing electrical projects and estimating costs accurately to support successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Develop and prepare accurate estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and other associated costs.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to gather necessary project details and ensure smooth execution.
- Support project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to project progress, budgets, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide support to senior project managers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in electrical project management and bidding.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in project management and estimating software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
