Immunizing Pharmacist

Position Overview

We are seeking an Immunizing Pharmacist to provide direct patient care in a community healthcare setting. This role focuses on administering vaccinations, supporting patient care programs, and helping patients achieve better health outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a patient-focused approach, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer multiple immunizations, including flu, shingles, COVID-19, and other recommended vaccines.
  • Provide compassionate, professional care to patients and caregivers.
  • Support patient care programs designed to improve health outcomes.
  • Educate patients regarding immunizations and available healthcare services.
  • Adapt to changing patient and operational needs in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
  • Apply pharmacy knowledge and clinical judgment to promote positive health outcomes.
  • Contribute to a team culture focused on patient care, professionalism, and service excellence.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Pharmacist license in the state where the position is located.
  • Immunization certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances.
  • Verifiable high school diploma or GED required.

The successful candidate will be compassionate, adaptable, and comfortable working directly with patients. Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in helping patients maintain and improve their health are essential. This is an in-person, patient-facing position.
