We are currently seeking experienced Body Shop Mechanics to join our team in Cullman, Alabama. This role is essential in ensuring the structural and cosmetic integrity of vehicles and equipment.

* Job Description:

**

As a Body Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring the bodywork of a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will help maintain appearance and safety.


** Responsibilities:**

- Assess damage and determine repair work needed on vehicle bodies.
- Perform bodywork repairs, including dent removal, welding, and painting.
- Replace damaged parts, including panels, fenders, and bumpers.
- Sand, buff, and polish vehicles to restore finishes.
- Align vehicle frames and unibody structures.
- Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and parts used.


** Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in auto body repair preferred.
- Proven experience as a body shop mechanic or auto body technician.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body structures and repair techniques.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment used in bodywork repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and work orders.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
- Valid driver's license.

* Preferred Qualifications:

**

- Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in auto body repair.

- Experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Knowledge of modern vehicle safety systems and electronics.
