Position Summary
This position is essential to supporting the daily operations of the faculty and staff based at UGA's Tifton Campus. Under the supervision of the Senior Business Manager, this position provides comprehensive administrative and fiscal support to faculty and staff located on UGA's Tifton Campus. The role serves as the primary point of contact for visitors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, customer service, and timely access to information and services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support for faculty and staff members.
- Process purchase orders, check requests, 4-H charges, and travel expense statements.
- Answer and direct phone calls, greet visitors, and serve as the unit's primary point of contact.
- Maintain digital records and personnel databases; update listservs as employees are hired or terminated.
- Review payroll for accuracy and process bi‑weekly or monthly payroll.
- Report mileage on departmental vehicles and submit state equipment inventories.
- Serve as departmental P‑Card holder: submit pre‑approvals, complete purchase transactions, reconcile monthly statements, and upload to Procurement.
- Assist Business Managers and Senior Business Manager with special projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience.
