This is the lead administrative support position for the Southwest District of UGA Cooperative Extension. It performs administrative and support duties with wide latitude for exercising discretion and judgement. Serves as office manager, interprets written policies, and explains them to others. Often deals with highly confidential issues and uses discretion effectively.
Duties / Responsibilities- Performs administrative and support duties with wide latitude for exercising discretion and judgment.
- Employee hiring and termination process, employee contracts, serious incident reports, promotion process, annual performance reviews on all employees, keeping all matters confidential. (50%)
- Assists administrators with programs using full educational program knowledge. (25%)
- Create and maintain databases; writes, edits, and coordinates reports and other related duties as assigned by District Extension Director. (25%)
