Position SummaryThis position is responsible for answering phones, assisting customers in person at the Butts‑Mehre ticket window, and occasional email correspondence with current and prospective ticket buyers. The role supports the Director and Assistant Director of Ticket Operations with various projects including season and single game ticket allocations, fulfillment of ticket requests, and mailing ticket orders. Additional responsibilities include proficiency in the Paciolan ticketing system, maintaining customer record confidentiality, and familiarizing with athletic venues and parking regulations, with support for Stub Hub integration.
Responsibilities- Assist with customer service needs including answering inbound calls, making outbound calls, directing guests to in‑person window transactions, and handling email correspondence.
- Help ticket office staff with ticket allocation, distribution, fulfillment, and mailing.
- Support special project assistance as needed by full‑time Ticket Office staff.
- Assist with training of volunteer and student employees, requiring proficiency in Paciolan, Stub Hub, and Microsoft Office for training purposes.
• High school diploma or equivalent (depending on departmental requirements) is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks.
Physical DemandsRegularly stands, walks, uses hands and reaches with arms; occasionally sits, talks, or hears. Occasionally lifts or moves up to 20 pounds. Specific vision needs include close, distance, and peripheral vision.
