- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; preferred hours:
Monday 8am–5pm, Wednesday 8am–5pm, Friday 9am–1pm; flexible around class schedule but not exceed 20 hours per week. - Salary: $11.75 per hour
- Enrolled at least half‑time at the University of Georgia when classes are in session (minimum six credit hours for undergraduates and professionals; minimum five credit hours for graduate students). Summer terms and the last semester before graduation may differ.
- In good standing with the Office of Student Conduct and University Housing.
- May not exceed 20 hours of work per week across all student staff positions, unless granted prior permission when classes are not in session.
- May not exceed 6 consecutive hours of work per shift.
Student employees are considered temporary employees. Employees may be separated at any time.
Duties / Responsibilities- Effective communication via online work tickets, direct communication, email, two‑way radio, and telephone.
- Office skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), database management, and general office skills.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety.
Consistent with a typical office environment. Driving required. Position has direct interaction or care of employees under the age of 18 and has security access.
Background InvestigationOffer of employment contingent upon completion of a background investigation including criminal background check, verification of credentials and employment history, and (if applicable) a credit check.
