Position Summary
Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant seek a reporting and evaluation coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely data collection, preparation, and submission of all required university, state, and federal reports. This role involves data analysis, compliance monitoring, and collaboration with staff, faculty, and students to maintain reporting integrity and inform data‑driven decision making.
Responsibilities- Compile, analyze, and format data for university, state, and federal reports.
- Monitor changes in reporting requirements and ensure reports comply with regulatory and institutional guidelines.
- Identify and correct discrepancies in reporting processes.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
- Develop and coordinate evaluation planning, survey design, data acquisition strategies, and data reporting tools.
- Coordinate with various programmatic leads to assure continual improvement of data processes and procedures that maximize efficiency and meet all applicable needs.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on reporting procedures and best practices.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding submitted reports.
- Perform additional administrative duties for department as needed such as preparing or updating forms and materials, conducting data entry/data integrity checks, conducting data cleaning tasks, completing data coding, and related tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
- Experience conducting program evaluation, including knowledge of relevant design models, logic modeling, project management, and evaluation/research methodologies.
- Experience working with large, complex data sets.
- Proficiency using SPSS, STATA, or other data analytic software.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office software including Excel.
- Experience using web-based survey tools (e.g., Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, etc.).
- Ability to successfully collaborate with various internal and external stakeholder groups/staff.
- Local and regional in-state travel.
