Position SummaryThe facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join its growing primary care team in Athens, GA
.
This full-time position offers a balanced schedule, with approximately 2.5 days per week in Athens and 2 days per week in Royston
, providing outpatient care only. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Essential Position Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients across all age groups.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, and health maintenance exams.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
- Participate in quality improvement and patient engagement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of safety, respect, and excellence in clinical care.
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine; eligible for Georgia medical licensure.
- Experience: Previous outpatient experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
