Augusta University College of Nursing invites applications for full-time, 12-month, faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. The college enrolls over 1000 students across two campuses and multiple partner sites. It is part of Georgia's only publicly-funded comprehensive health science center, offering programs from BSN to PhD, with extensive clinical and teaching opportunities.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Doctorate in a relevant field (PhD, DNP).
- Active nursing license in Georgia or eligibility.
- For Assistant Professor:
Early career; for Associate Professor: at least five years at Assistant level or equivalent experience. - Evidence of teaching ability, scholarly activity, and professional activity.
- Personal qualities assessed via interview, references, and biographical data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in academic teaching and clinical instruction.
- Comfort with technology-enhanced pedagogies, including simulation.
- Recognition in the profession at local, regional, or national levels.
Additional Details
