Duties/Responsibilities Relationship Management and Business Development- Identify and qualify new industry prospect leads for the University, prioritizing businesses in Georgia.
- Manage a growing portfolio of major industry prospects to build long-term partnerships that generate philanthropic support, research sponsorship, and student engagement.
- Develop understanding of UGA’s philanthropic areas and connect opportunities with industry needs to create mutually beneficial relationships.
- Assist faculty, administrators, and unit development directors with industry-related projects and funding proposals, contracts, and stewardship reports.
- Plan and attend campus and off-site meetings with corporate representatives to build partnerships.
- Create annual prospect engagement plans aligned to the Director’s metrics.
- Document all interactions in the CRM system with clear data input.
