About The School of ComputingThe Franklin College of Arts and Sciences hosts the School of Computing, a growing department with 46 faculty, nearly 1,850 undergraduate and 220 graduate students. Programs include B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science; B.S. and M.S. degrees in Data Science; and M.S. in Cybersecurity and Privacy. Faculty research spans algorithms, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, human-computer interaction, cybersecurity, and systems.

Minimum Qualifications- Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
We invite applications for an Assistant Professor position beginning August 2026 and for an Associate Professor position with tenure track. Candidates should have expertise in cybersecurity, including algorithmic, systems, and/or AI-based approaches, and a strong record of high-quality publications. Associate Professor candidates must also demonstrate external research funding and a commitment to teaching and mentoring.
Additional RequirementsAssociate Professor rank applicants must meet the University’s promotion and tenure guidelines, which include approved tenure upon hire. Tenure‑eligible candidates must demonstrate qualifications commensurate with these standards.
