Position Overview
The Learning & Development Senior Managing Consultant I (Individual Contributor) is a Training Professional I who conducts learning experiences in a classroom setting. This role delivers standard/scripted workshops in-person, virtually, or in hybrid settings focused on onboarding, early career development, and non-controversial topics. The consultant may coordinate special events and serve as a co-facilitator for more complex workshops and retreats. Level I L&D Sr.
Managing Consultants are expected to follow basic financial procedures.
- Deliver standard/scripted workshops for onboarding, early career development, and non-controversial topics in person or on virtual platforms (Teams and/or Zoom).
- Modify materials as needed for standard workshops.
- Serve as a co-facilitator for more complex, customized workshops, retreats, and cohort programs.
- Debrief Clifton Strengths assessments as part of career development coaching sessions.
- Coordinate special events (e.g., New Staff Luncheon, Staff Orientation/Onboarding activities).
- Support staff engagement programs such as the Staff Mentor Program.
- Coordinate training logistics, such as scheduling, enrollment, and managing LMS for hosted workshops and programs.
- Research and curate e-learning and other professional development resources for various employee groups.
- Support daily operations and infrastructure of the Learning and Development Center.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
- Foundational knowledge in instructional design and facilitation; developing complex facilitation and coaching skills.
- Understanding of adult learning theories and current Learning & Development trends.
- Experience with technology applications such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365.
